Job summary

A corporate office in Leeds is seeking a Temporary Receptionist to cover from December 24th to January 2nd. Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing phone lines, coordinating meeting rooms, and handling administrative tasks. Temp Receptionist– Leeds (10 min walk from the station)

Christmas Cover – 24th, 29th, 30th, 31st December and 2nd January

£12-13 per hour

8am – 5pm

Calling all available receptionists, with experience of working in similar positions on front of house, within an office environment.

My client, a corporate office in Leeds, are looking for a Temporary Receptionist, to help provide cover over the Christmas period (5 days), with a high chance of additional dates in the future.

What you’ll do:
  • Greet and welcome guests and clients in person and over the phone
  • Manage a busy phoneline, directing calls and taking messages
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scheduling
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
Who you are:
  • Friendly, professional, and polished with excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Highly organized and able to multitask effectively
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front‑of‑house, or administrative role preferred
  • A proactive attitude with a customer‑first approach
