A healthcare trust in London is seeking a Receptionist / Administrator to support the radiology department by managing appointments and providing administrative assistance. The successful candidate will welcome patients, utilise clinical systems for scheduling, and liaise with medical professionals. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be part of a dedicated team ensuring the smooth operation of the department while prioritising patient care across our sites.
The post holder will be part of an administrative team whose responsibilities are to support the clinical services within the radiology department in managing the daily demand and to effectively prioritise incoming referrals into urgent and non‑urgent, this includes coverage for Obstetric ultrasound receptions and Mount Vernon Hospital X‑ray reception. The post holder will act as a Receptionist / Administrator to provide administrative support to our Superintendents when required and provide an effective, efficient appointment service to the department and the Trust. You will be a key member of the team and will participate in the improvement plan of patient care across the department. Please note that a willingness to work across our Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospital sites is essential.
Any other business as required by the Radiology Admin Manager. This job description may be reviewed in the light of changing service needs and developments. Any changes will be fully discussed with the post-holder.
