As a Receptionist at Aria Court Care Home, you will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, face to face or via the telephone to the Home.

After a recent refurbishment, Aria Court is now a sparkling 92‑bedroom care home with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and facilities. Located in a quiet residential nook in March, Cambridgeshire, our home boasts a cinema, hair salon, multiple dining rooms. Beautiful gardens provide a bounty of home‑grown fruit and veg.

About the role

Reporting to the Home Admin Manager, the Receptionist will ensure that the overall presentation of the reception provides a friendly, welcoming and professional image of the home so that all visitors to the home feel welcomed.

Salary

£12.21 per hour.

Shift Pattern

25 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location

Coronation Close, March, England, PE15 9PP.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including responding to emails, copying, faxing and taking notes.
  • Ensure that residents receive their post and prepare all outgoing post on a daily basis.
  • Any additional duties as assigned by the Home Admin Manager.
Training, Skills & Experience Required
  • Experience working within a receptionist position is essential.
  • Working within a care home environment is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent written, non‑verbal and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of and competence in Microsoft Office applications and Windows‑based operating environments – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Explorer.
