A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Receptionist to join their team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. This role involves 30 hours of work per week, providing front-of-house administrative support. An excellent opportunity has arisen to work as a Receptionist at the Derwent Unit, Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
The role is 30 hours per week and this is to cover days, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
We are looking for a Receptionist to assist in ensuring the delivery of a high quality, front-of-house, administrative/secretarial support - reflecting the professionalism of the service.
If you are applying for this post on a secondment basis you must have the prior approval from your current line manager before applying.
There is a possibility that this post may become permanent in the future.
You will join our busy, front-of-house team in delivering an efficient and effective service.
This post has interesting and varied responsibilities, including typing/word processing, scanning, data input and front-of-house duties, including security procedures.
It is essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills.
You must be able to prioritise work, responding to any queries from service users, staff, the general public and other agencies in a professional manner.
You will be required to be flexible with your approach as you will be required to work a shift pattern to ensure the reception is covered at all times during the day.
You should have demonstrable experience or possess RSA II Typing or Word Processing, have a good standard of spelling and grammatical accuracy and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
You need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues and possible security issues.
