About the role

We are looking for a Receptionist on a 12 month fixed term contract (ending March 2027) to help assist in the smooth running of reception on a day-to-day basis. Acting as the first point of contact, our busy Reception team need to understand what a caller or visitor requires and assist accordingly. The role will require regular phone work and general administrative duties to ensure visitors and employees are looked after.

What you’ll be doing
  • Answering and directing incoming calls using a computer-based system
  • Fielding numerous employee queries regarding policies and procedures
  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
  • Issuing security passes
  • Maintaining a tidy and organised Reception area
  • Completing various administrative duties including weekly report running
  • Booking transport (mainly taxis) for clients and members of staff
  • Coordinating refreshments or making drinks when required
  • Supporting any other parts of the front of house teams and wider business as and when required
About you
  • Previous experience working as a Receptionist or working in a client/customer facing role
  • Knowledge of access control systems (training can be provided)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding communication skills, friendly and approachable
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to multitask

Offering circa £26,500 depending on experience

We are looking for a receptionist to join our team, based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is a 12 month FTC, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm.
