Reception and Administration Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic and empathic people person to join our Community Roots based at the Chai Centre Burnley. You will be customer focussed with a passion for engaging with the community and helping people access a wide range of health and wellbeing opportunities. You will provide front-line reception duties, welcoming all to Community Roots, whilst maintaining and updating clerical records that support the operational delivery of the service. Applications are encouraged from individuals with demonstrable experience in working with communities and mental health care services.

Main duties of the job

At Community Roots we offer courses that are co-designed, alongside people with lived experience and professionals by experience, to help people find accessible and fun health and wellbeing opportunities important to them. We work alongside a range of community partners to bring the very best opportunities in your local area. We want to help people make connections in their community and we\'re able to signpost to support when needed. By working with a range of different partners, we hope to bring opportunities that are relevant to our community and people\'s recovery journeys. About us

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
