Job summary

A leading defense organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a passionate software engineer focused on embedded software development for Real Time systems. This hands-on role involves architecting, designing, implementing, and testing missile subsystem software. The ideal candidate will develop complex solutions and support junior engineers. Qualifications

  • Proven experience of developing and delivering embedded software solutions using C++.
  • Experience in model-based development, using UML or using tools such as IBM's Rhapsody.
  • Good working knowledge of the complete software engineering lifecycle.
  • Ability to support and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, implement, and test missile subsystem software.
  • Collaborate with engineers to deliver on-board software for Missile Systems.
  • Lead technical implementation and support other engineers.
