This is a rare opportunity to move into one of the most in-demand and fast-growing areas of real estate law, acting for major utility providers and infrastructure companies shaping the UK's future.

The Role

Joining a Tier 1-ranked team that specialises in complex, high-volume property transactions for clients across the energy, water, fibre and EV sectors. Working closely with 15 fee earners and a strong support team, this role offers hands-on exposure to:

  • Easements, surrenders and variations linked to large-scale infrastructure networks
  • Title due diligence, reporting, registrations and post-completion work
  • End-to-end management of transactions, including drafting, negotiation and client liaison
  • DocuSign completions and electronic document management
  • Supporting the team's growth through client relationship management and thought leadership

The nature of the work is both fast-paced and rewarding, offering a mix of technical complexity and strategic advisory input across nationally significant infrastructure projects.

The Candidate

This opportunity would suit a qualified Property Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE, guideline only) with a background in residential or commercial property and a keen interest in utilities, infrastructure or energy.

  • Technically strong and commercially astute
  • Confident in managing property transactions from start to finish
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
  • A strong communicator who enjoys client contact
  • Proactive and eager to build a specialist practice within a growing team

Crucially, this is a role for someone who wants more than just traditional property work, someone who is energised by the idea of contributing to real-world infrastructure development and long-term sector growth.

The Firm & Package

  • A respected Top 50 law firm with a supportive, people-first culture
  • Highly competitive salary and benefits package
  • Flexible/hybrid working model
  • Genuine long-term career development within a thriving team
  • Exposure to nationally significant clients and transactions
  • A collaborative, ambitious and forward-thinking environment
