Overview

NAS Recruitment are currently recruiting Reach forklift operatives for our client in Bathgate, required for dayshift positions with immediate starts available. This role involves working at a large distribution centre. These are temp to perm positions and will lead to permanent employment providing attendance/timekeeping and performance are to required levels.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a valid reach truck licence.

Details

• Dayshift hours of work are starting between 6am and 9am and will be between 35 to 40 hours per week
• Candidates will work any 5 days from 7 on a rota basis.
• Day rate from GBP14.68 per hour

Due to the location and start times, candidates MUST have their own transport unless they are within walking or cycling distance to the site.

The role will involve assisting with loading/unloading vehicles and organising stock within the warehouse. Candidates will also be required to assist with order picking duties at times.

Suitable candidates, who do not wish to contribute to the Order Picking process, may still be considered and offered the role at a lower rate of pay.

Please note the work can be repetitive and involves a degree of heavy lifting. Candidates will also be required to pass drug and alcohol screening at induction.
