Opportunity

RBC Wealth Management Europe provides comprehensive wealth management capabilities through RBC Brewin Dolphin and RBC Wealth Management to private clients, including professionals, inheritors, business owners, entrepreneurs, intermediaries and charities.

What will you do?
  • Design and deliver learning interventions rich in sector knowledge and understanding that builds skills and confidence required to delight and serve clients.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops for wealth management professionals at all levels, utilising a variety of instructional techniques to engage participants and promote learning.
  • Build relationships, collaborate, and consult with subject matter experts, senior leadership, and external partners to ensure training content is relevant, promoting best practices, and striving for ‘world‑class’ outcomes.
  • Evaluate impact of training programs through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics, making data‑driven recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
  • Strengthen a culture of inclusion and belonging at RBC.
  • Provide continuous feedback and coaching to teams and individuals on all aspects of performance.
  • Stay abreast of behavioral economics, sales techniques, industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes, incorporating relevant information and fresh insights into training content, and adjusting approach as needed.
  • Serve as a resource and point of contact for wealth management professionals seeking guidance on training‑related matters, providing ongoing support and assistance.
  • Support Wealth Management Europe’s activities to enable the consistent delivery of good client outcomes in accordance with RBC BD values, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Consult and collaborate with other key business functions to deliver cohesive training solutions that are aligned with business strategy.
  • Travel across the office network to build relationships and deliver development needs as required.
What do you need to succeed?
Must‑have
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs, with strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate audiences.
  • Previous experience in professional services, wealth management, or training and development is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the nature of client/adviser relationships and the ability to recognise and add value to these.
  • Self‑motivated, with strong organisational skills; the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong evidence of tenacity and resilience; the ability to thrive and to support others through organisational and behavioural change.
Nice‑to‑have
  • Industry related qualifications e.g. CISI, CII Level 4 would be useful but not a requirement.
