Rail HSQE Advisor - Field-Based (London & Surrounding Areas)

Are you a Health & Safety professional with a passion for rail infrastructure and a drive to make a real impact? We are hiring on behalf of a respected contractor for a Rail HSQE Advisor to lead safety, quality, and environmental compliance across major rail projects.

This is a high-impact role where you will be the Responsible Person for HSQE matters, working closely with senior leadership and site teams. You will manage CDM responsibilities, lead investigations, conduct audits, and shape the safety culture across multiple sites.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the Responsible Person for HSQE matters across projects.
  • Manage CDM responsibilities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead investigations and coordinate root-cause analysis as required.
  • Conduct internal and external safety, quality, and environmental audits; implement corrective actions.
  • Support and shape the safety culture across multiple sites in collaboration with senior leadership and site teams.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Health & Safety professional with a focus on rail infrastructure.
  • Experience with Network Rail standards is advantageous.
  • Vegetation management experience is highly advantageous.
  • Background in utilities is beneficial.
  • Field-based role; willingness to travel within London and surrounding areas; flexible on hours.
