A leading engineering firm is seeking a Railway Delivery Manager for the Sizewell C project in the UK. The role involves leading major rail infrastructure delivery, managing multiple stakeholders, and overseeing project lifecycles. Ideal candidates will have a strong track record in complex environments, experience in procurement and contract management, and a degree in engineering. This position offers competitive benefits, including hybrid working options and professional development support.
Are you looking for a career that is rewarding, at the cutting edge of project development, and where you can truly make a difference? Join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the UK's most exciting and largest megaprojects. Building on the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project has secured planning approval and Government financing support and has now commenced construction. The project is seeking private investment and, once completed, will generate dependable low carbon electricity for six million homes for 60 years - supporting the UK's Net Zero 2050 ambitions. About the opportunity: Sizewell C is a cornerstone of the UK's future energy strategy. As the second of the next generation nuclear power stations, its scale and complexity require robust leadership and excellence in engineering and delivery. The Rail Delivery Manager will lead the safe, coordinated, and efficient delivery of major rail infrastructure forming part of the Off Site Delivery sub‑programme within the SZC Site Delivery Programme. This includes developing and executing the implementation plan for rail projects to ensure delivery against cost, schedule, quality, and safety targets. You will oversee the full lifecycle of these projects - from investigation and design through procurement, enabling works, construction, commissioning, and handover.
