Position Overview

Are you great with people, very organised, and passionate about patient care? Our Radiotherapy Service is looking for a motivated, friendly and confident individual with experience of working within a very busy and fast‑pace, patient‑facing environment to come and join our team.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Radiotherapy Administrator to provide 6‑month maternity leave cover within our radiotherapy team, providing full administrative support and assisting in the day‑to‑day running of the unit, including managing a busy outpatient reception, processing radiotherapy referrals and scheduling new and follow‑up patient appointments. The post holder will be expected to organise and prioritise their own workload and to work closely with clinical colleagues to ensure continuity of service for our patients at all times.

This is a great opportunity for an excellent administrator to develop and learn within a complex, fast‑paced environment. You will have excellent team‑working, interpersonal and communication skills with the vision and enthusiasm to continually develop both yourself and the service. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive and quality administration service to the Radiotherapy department and manage and prioritise workload liaising closely with the other administration staff and management in the department.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team, including consultants.
