About East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has hospitals in sunny seaside towns that provide radiological services to a large catchment area and we are only an approx. 45 minute train ride to Brighton and 1.5 hour train ride to London.

• GE Discovery DR X‑ray room
• AGFA DR600 X‑ray room
• SIEMENS CIOS Flow mobile image intensifier

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all aspects of general radiography and other modalities to develop radiographic knowledge.
• Participate in the on‑call or shift rotas to provide a 24‑hour radiographic service throughout the year.
• Act as a mentor and fully participate in the training of student radiographers while maintaining professional standards at all times.
• Engage in internal training in specialty modalities, including Cardiac and Interventional Radiography and CT scanning.
• Contribute to the department’s CPD training and support the development of colleagues.

Qualifications

• UK Registration with the Health Professions Council as a Diagnostic Radiographer must be obtained prior to commencement of employment.
• Good clinical standards and interpersonal skills.
• Previous UK experience and/or experience within an East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is an advantage.
