A defense organization in the UK is seeking an individual to fill an R&T Planning role. Creating the future world we want to live in relies on effective planning today, delivered for the UK through this Research & Technology (R&T) Planning role and supporting team., It coheres R&T planning views, working across the business to link technology developers to known and future programme needs. It owns the UK R&T relationships with the future systems and critical technology functions as well as UK R&T route map development. It plays a key part in UK R&T communication both at director level and more broadly seeking to maintain common views at delivery level escalating known challenges and supporting resolution implementation. It seeks to maintain effective technical and strategic relationships across the breadth of the business and in to UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) to promote and encourage delivery of UK R&T needs. The opportunity: This role sits within a small close knit team in UK R&T but has broad linkages across every part of the business from Programmes to Technical Functions, Strategy to Future Systems & Emerging Technologies. It seeks to understand the future product R&T needs as well as influence the future product portfolio through facilitating appropriate tech push.

Employees receive 25 days of paid annual leave per calendar year, in addition to all statutory and public holidays. After 5, 10 and 15 years of service, an additional day of annual leave is added to your allowance at each of these milestones. Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 1 days per week on‑site due to workload classification.
Security Clearance: British Citizen. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Dynamic Working We want our people to work when and where they feel they can be most effective. For most of our employees, we have a flexi‑time scheme that allows you to choose, within certain parameters, when you start and finish each day and how you can use time you have accrued.
Employees who work the time can also accrue and take up to 15 days of Flexi‑leave per annum, in addition to the 25 days of annual leave provided and bank holidays.
