About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team in Wolverhampton. You'll play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of mechanical and electrical projects, working across a diverse portfolio that includes commercial, public sector, and industrial developments. You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate cost management, contract administration, and value engineering throughout project lifecycles. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable contractor/consultancy delivering high-quality building services projects across the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cost control and forecasting across multiple M&E projects.
  • Prepare and negotiate tenders, subcontractor packages, and variations.
  • Administer and manage NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Conduct monthly valuations, progress claims, and financial reporting.
  • Support project teams with procurement, risk management, and commercial advice.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the building services or construction sector.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with NEC forms of contract (preferably NEC3 or NEC4).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office suite.
