Project Quantity Surveyor / Estimator - Main Contractor / Refurbishment Projects  |  Lichfield, Staffs  |  Permanent Role | Competitive Salary + Benefits

We are representing a well-established Main Contractor who is seeking a driven Project Quantity Surveyor — and will also consider applications from ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyors ready to step up — to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of general construction and refurbishment projects throughout Staffordshire, delivering high-quality schemes for a range of clients.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing and managing cost plans, valuations, and forecasts
  • Procuring subcontractors and managing supply chain relationships
  • Handling contract administration and project documentation
  • Monitoring costs, variations, and budgets
  • Supporting senior QS staff (if Assistant level) and working towards greater responsibility
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant QS within a main contractor environment
  • Exposure to general construction and refurbishment projects
  • Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification (preferred but not essential)
