Job description

We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering organisation, specifically for works in the SW region.

In this role, visibility on site is essential. Therefore, the successful candidate will be required to be full time on site, the first being a large infrastructure site in Somerset.

Snapshot of Duties
  • You will be responsible for the robust commercial management of project, including overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.
  • You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitments.
About you

As well as at least 5 years in a QS role (or perhaps an AQS role and ready for the next level), you'll also have:

  • Knowledge of monitoring cost performance of projects and contract administration.
  • Evidence of working in a team and building effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience in a civil engineering / highways maintenance environment
  • NEC experience is a must
