Overview

Involve Recruitment is in search of a Quantity Surveyor with experience in new‑build, refurbishment schemes. With a strong pipeline of commercial and residential projects, our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and support the successful delivery of projects from pre‑construction through to final account.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost plans, budgets, and estimates for housing projects
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, including tendering, analysis, and appointment
  • Administer contracts, valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Monitor project costs and cash flow, identifying and mitigating commercial risks
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications
  • Assess subcontractor applications and manage payments
  • Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasts to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, company procedures, and industry standards
  • Liaise with site teams, clients, consultants, and suppliers
Skills & Experience
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Proven experience working with a housing / residential construction contractor or commercially managed housing schemes
  • Ideally experience managing schemes from £2 - £10 million
