At Rimkus Project Services we work alongside our blue-chip clients in the United Kingdom delivering high value engineering and construction projects typically within the Infrastructure, Nuclear and Oil/Gas sectors.

Responsibilities

The Role

You will deliver successful commercial outcomes working alongside project delivery teams for our clients based throughout the UK. We require flexibility and a commitment to service delivery. Our typical working week is hybrid, split between 3 days working on projects or at client offices and typically 2 days home working.

We are recruiting both Intermediate and Quantity Surveyor level candidates, you will have the right to work in the UK and provide contract management services where your deliverables may include:

  • Support the preparation of tender and contract documents.
  • Analysis of tender commercial returns and documents.
  • Pre and post contract commercial support and contract administration
  • Cost forecasting, change and value management
  • Review and completion of contractor interim applications for payment
  • Support the agreement of contract variations and claims
  • Completion of contract final accounts
  • Support Client internal governance and reporting requirements
  • Support risk and value management

Rimkus Project Services UK support all employees with the attainment of professional accreditation with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) through an inhouse APC Training Programme where you will be assigned a Counsellor to support you through the process.

Qualifications
  • A recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related subject.
  • At least 3 years’ or 5 years relevant project experience for Intermediate and Quantity Surveyor roles respectively.
  • Demonstrable experience working as part of a commercial team delivering infrastructure, nuclear, oil and gas or similar projects, procuring and administering engineering contracts such as NEC3/4.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills working with a variety of multi-disciplined teams to achieve successful project delivery for their client.

It is desirable if you are enrolled on a pathway to become a Chartered member of the RICS and have experience of the use of contract management systems such as CEMAR.
