Overview

Position: Quality Technician

Location: Sunderland

Company: Autoscan UK Limited

Pay Rate: £14.50 Per Hour (PAYE)

Duration: Minimum 3 Months FTC

Autoscan provides Quality Inspection, Containment & Quality Engineering Services to the Automotive, Off Highway, and all types of manufacturing industries and their supply chain. We are currently recruiting an experienced Quality Technician for an opportunity based in the Sunderland area of Tyne and Wear.

Responsibilities

• Perform first off / last off inspection confirmations and a basic level of auditing and part confirmation against internal QAIS standards, including visual assessment of parts and basic gloss/colour measurement, as well as simple vernier inspection measurements.
• Update quality concern status in our bespoke concern management system and corresponding customer systems to reflect progress.
• Manage resolution of quality issues after supplier discussions, drive robust problem resolution actions, and close issues to 8D.
• Represent the team in quality forums, from initial investigation through to senior management and engineering follow up meetings, and feedback to the supplier network.
• Communicate effectively at all levels; be comfortable in customer-facing roles.
