A leading educational institution in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality Office Support role to assist in validation processes and manage quality systems. Candidates should have experience in a Quality Assurance role or similar within higher education, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. This role involves working closely with partners and ensuring compliance with university policies. The position offers various staff benefits including annual leave, pension scheme, and more.
The postholder will support the work of the Quality Office and the University as a whole and in particular the work of the Collaborative Provision Unit in respect to franchise and validation work. Duties will include validation processes, managing the established quality systems and servicing of a major committee.
To be responsible for communication with partners with respect to University programme development, being proactive in obtaining information from academic departments.
To arrange and attend partner assessment panels, where necessary, and provide guidance on regulations, policies and procedures in support to the Chair of the Panel.
To provide authoritative guidance to partners on University expectations around student representation, student feedback and university policies and procedures.
To undertake travel to partners as part of the audit work covering student ID and attendance checks.
Responsible for the good practice in the administrative procedures and processes of the Quality Office and be instrumental in the development and implementation of good practice where appropriate.
Responsible for monitoring records of validation and review events and in the implementation and tracking of action points.
Candidates should have experience of working in a Quality Assurance role within a higher education sector or a customer-focused administrative environment within the higher education sector or transferable field. Aptitude to create and interrogate databases. Excellent communication, customer service and organisation.
Experience of taking minutes and notes and organising all elements for meetings. Good organisational skills and attention to detail as well as able to work well in both a team and on their own and experience of office packages.
