Overview

A Quality Manager job opportunity has become available within a well‑established UK manufacturer supplying global markets from a modern production facility near the Redditch area. Operating across both manual and automated manufacturing processes, the business is experiencing continued growth and is looking to strengthen its quality leadership capability. This role would suit a hands‑on quality professional ready to take ownership of site quality performance, or an experienced Quality Manager seeking a fresh challenge in a technically varied environment. The position offers a salary circa £50,000+, 33 days annual leave, early finishes on a Friday, company events, and tailored personal development programmes.

Responsibilities
  • Owning internal and external audits and driving continuous improvement.
  • Leading APQP activities including FMEA, control plans and PPAP.
  • Owning customer complaints, NCRs and 8D corrective actions.
  • Ensuring manufacturing processes meet customer, regulatory and ISO requirements.
  • Managing calibration systems and inspection equipment.
  • Driving site‑wide quality performance and right‑first‑time results.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a senior quality role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Background in automotive, aerospace or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of core quality tools including PPAP, 8D, SPC and root cause analysis.
  • Experience managing and maintaining quality management systems to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Mechanical engineering qualification or relevant quality‑focused training.
