A growing SME manufacturing company in Ferndown, Dorset, is seeking a Quality Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring products meet the highest standards and adhere to quality processes. Overview

A SME manufacturing company who are growing year on year are currently recruiting for Quality Manager to be responsible for making sure that their products are built and delivered to the customer with the highest of standards.
A company has won awards for their products that they supply to major corporations around the world. The company designs and builds its products here in Dorset and this role will see you working closely with Production, Design, Supply Chain and Sales to ensure that quality processes are implemented and adhered to for customer projects.

Responsibilities
  • Developing quality policies to meet customer and business needs
  • Quality Management System implementation and ensuring compliance to ISO standards
  • Product testing & inspection to ensure that all products are manufactured to the required quality standards
  • Undertake and lead root cause analysis and implement corrective / preventative actions
  • Ensure supplier quality standards are met
  • Management of customer RMAs and warranty claims
  • Managing of customer quality issues / complaints to resolve in a timely manner
  • Auditing internal, customer & supplier and any other third-party audits.
Qualifications
  • Previous quality engineering / quality management experience
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards
  • Experience of working within a production, manufacturing, engineering environment
  • Assembly production / manufacturing knowledge would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers and suppliers
