Overview

Quality Manager — Location: Andover | Salary: 48,000 - 52,000 DOE | Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm & Fridays 8:00am - 3:30pm

As Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organisation meets and exceeds all quality standards. You will work closely with various departments, including sales, purchasing, and senior management, to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Quality Department, ensuring smooth processes and high standards.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team on strategic planning and policy implementation. Maintain and enhance our Quality Management System (QMS) through effective audits, documentation, and procedures.
Quality Assurance
  • Ensure customer requirements are met and compliant, both in products and paperwork.
  • Conduct inspections of incoming goods and manage non-conformance's with the Purchasing Department.
  • Investigate product returns and conduct necessary tests, creating detailed reports and records.
Continuous Improvement
  • Share innovative ideas to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Stay informed about competitor intelligence and share insights with relevant parties.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop individuals.
  • A keen eye for both the big picture and fine details.
  • A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent understanding of technical drawings and working knowledge of ISO 9002.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a solid educational background in literacy and numeracy.
