Qualifications

  • Proven background in a subcontract machine shop.
  • Strong knowledge of geometric tolerances.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect machined parts to tight aerospace tolerances.
  • Perform First Off and Stage inspections.
  • Complete batch inspections using manual techniques.
  • Program and operate CMM equipment.
  • Create First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 standards.

  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30, Friday 07:30–12:30

Responsibilities
  • Inspecting machined parts to tight aerospace tolerances
  • Performing First Off and Stage inspections of detailed components
  • Completing batch inspections using manual techniques (micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
  • Programming and operating CMM equipment (preferably PC-Dmis)
  • Creating and completing First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 standards
Experience / Qualifications
  • Proven background in a busy sub-contract machine shop environment
  • Strong knowledge of machining practices and geometric tolerances
  • Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Manual inspection experience using precision measuring tools
  • Competence with Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
