Overview

We are recruiting a Quality Inspector for our reputable client (permanent position).

Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire

Salary: £33,500 – £36,500

Hours: Monday–Friday (half-day Friday finish)

Overtime: Available

Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK

Role: Quality Inspector

About my Client:

A well-established precision engineering business with a strong order book and modern facilities. They are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their growing team. The successful candidate will ensure products meet the highest quality standards, working closely with production to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect metal components using precision tools
  • Verify compliance with industry standards
  • Analyse inspection data & prepare reports
  • Identify non-conformities
  • Maintain accurate inspection & quality records
  • Contribute to the development of QA policies
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of machining processes & materials
  • Skilled in the use of engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of QMS and industry standards
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable
  • Six Sigma / Lean training or certification
  • Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA
  • Familiarity with quality / data analysis software
