Overview

A global specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation located in Farnborough are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Quality Inspector to join their business on an initial 9 month contract with the possibility of a further extension in to 2026. 3 day week - Flexibility on days to suit you.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality department with inspection of machined components, sub assemblies and welded parts to ensure they are accurate and quality compliant.
• Use a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and the usual hand tools - Verniers, Calipers and Micrometers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience inspecting precision mechanical components to tight tolerances.
• Confident CMM user (programming not essential).
• Proficient with the hand tools listed above.
