Qualifications

  • Check welding and NDE procedures.
  • Produce accurate documentation for customers and internal stakeholders.

Job description

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking for a new role?

This role provides you with this opportunity. You have the chance to work for a rapidly growing sub-contract engineering company in Oldham that prides itself on treating their staff well, investing in new technology, and being forward thinking. They have experienced lots of growth in the last couple of years, and they are looking for a Quality Engineer in order to facilitate this growth!

If you:

  • Are apprentice or have HNC qualified or have experience as a Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.
  • Have a background in fabrication and/or machined components or similar
  • Have experience in auditing to ISO accreditation.
  • Assisting in maintaining and continued development/improvement of Quality and Business Management Systems including Health, Safety and Environmental.

You would be a great fit for the role! You would have the opportunity to get alongside customers producing well-presented and accurate information for both them and for people within the business, in order to ensure that every aspect of the process is in line with the customers expectations. This involves checking the welding, NDE procedures and all other procedures are done correctly and to the right quality, to ensure excellent customer service.

On top of the excellent working atmosphere and environment, you would receive a salary of GBP45,000-GBP50,000 (depending on experience), as well as an excellent company pension (you contribute 5%, the company contributes 10%).
