Would you enjoy working in a professional and friendly team in Quality Control in a large MHRA licensed NHS facility? The role holder will carry out a number of microbiological techniques in the testing of pharmaceutical samples, and read and report a significant number of environmental monitoring plates.

The technician will also assist in the routine calibration of laboratory equipment and maintenance of reagent and stock levels.

The Quality Control Unit has dedicated purpose built quality control laboratories (Chemistry and Microbiology) and a team of 15-20 Quality Control and Quality Assurance staff and is looking to recruit a QC Technician with experience in microbiological testing. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed QC analyst with excellent communication skills to join us for 9 months to cover maternity leave.
