Logirec Recruitment (agy) are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Control Manager to join a leading manufacturing business based in East Tilbury. This is a newly created role offering genuine autonomy to shape, improve and lead quality systems.


Key Responsibilities


  • Review existing procedures and develop improved, efficient quality systems

  • Lead day-to-day quality control activities, including product checks and process monitoring, managing factory floor staff

  • Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions

  • Develop clear, practical work instructions and training materials for production staff

  • Monitor product performance and ensure compliance with internal and customer expectations

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation

  • Liaise effectively with customers and suppliers regarding quality standards, expectations and concerns


You will need:


  • Proven experience in a manufacturing / supervisory quality control role

  • A practical, hands-on approach and confidence working on the production floor

  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills

  • Clear, confident communication skills at all levels of the business

  • A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for improving processes and systems
