The QC Inspector Level 1 is an entry-level position within the Quality Control department. This position is focused on developing and applying foundational knowledge and the hands-on skills and competencies necessary for the inspection of extruded components utilized in Medical Devices.

Essential Functions:

1. Perform Final Inspection for product Lot Release
2. Perform start-up and in-process inspections of manufacturing extrusion lines
3. Utilize inspection methods, gages, and equipment
4. Maintain accurate and complete records in all required documentation
5. Follow all requirements and equipment safety procedures

Work Environment:

• Dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing floor
• Exposure to noise, high temperatures, moving machinery, and high-voltage equipment
• Clean room and gowning requirements

Physical requirements include consistent lifting of up to 35 lbs., minimum lifting of 1 lb., and reaching up to 6 ft. from the floor. Must be able to avoid potentially moving objects, grasp and move objects consistently, and demonstrate ability to work productively and efficiently with others.
