About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Assistant to join our growing team within the food industry. This role is key to ensuring our products consistently meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
  • Assist with maintaining and improving food safety and quality systems (e.g. HACCP, BRC, ISO)
  • Record, analyse, and report quality data accurately
  • Support internal audits, inspections, and customer audits
  • Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety, and company procedures
  • Work closely with production teams to promote a strong quality culture
About You
  • Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within the food industry (preferred)
  • Good understanding of food safety standards and hygiene requirementsStrong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident with documentation and basic data analysis
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
