Job summary

A leading manufacturer of health products is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards. You will be responsible for conducting audits, supporting internal processes, and ensuring product safety and quality. Candidates must have relevant experience, HACCP qualifications, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support the Quality Management System, ensuring full compliance with legislative, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct daily Quality Assurance checks across warehouse and production areas.
  • Inspect and test materials and finished goods to verify safety, quality, and conformity.
  • Monitor batch documentation and ensure products released to market meet all quality and food safety standards.
  • Assist in customer complaint investigations and non-conformance reviews, applying appropriate root-cause, corrective, and preventive action tools.
  • Support the QC Lead in preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure full product and raw material traceability throughout the production process, maintaining accurate and compliant records.
  • Raise internal non-compliances where required and lead associated investigations.
  • Carry out testing in line with finished product specifications and standard procedures.
  • Assist with traceability exercises from ingredients through to finished goods, and vice versa.
  • Perform GMP and Glass Audits as required.
  • Work closely with the hygiene team to maintain high hygiene standards and ensure products are manufactured in a safe and compliant environment.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar Quality Assurance or Quality Management role.
  • HACCP qualification and Basic Food Hygiene Level 3 certification.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly within Microsoft Office.
  • Experience conducting internal audits and hosting technical visits.
  • Strong background in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing (capsule and tablet experience desirable).
  • Knowledge or experience of BRC and ISO standards (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
