Overview

Our client a large meat processing site, British beef to wholesalers, food service providers, and retailers both in the UK and abroad. From slaughter to processing and distribution, our Telford-based, state-of-the-art facility handles every stage of the journey.

Role

As a Quality Control Technician, you'll play a vital role in upholding food safety and quality across our Abattoir and Boning Hall. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Performing visual inspections and trimming to meet strict quality standards
  • Identifying and reporting contamination issues on the production line
  • Logging non-conformances and maintaining accurate inspection records
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene protocols and food safety regulations
  • Working collaboratively with QA Technicians, Supervisors, and production teams to improve processes and resolve issues

  • A sharp eye for detail and strong quality mindset
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene best practices
  • Prior experience in meat or food production is a plus but not essential
  • A reliable, methodical, and proactive team player
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
