Weare seeking an exceptional individual to work as a Quality Assurance Officerfor Estates & Facilities. You will be auditing cleaning standards inpatient areas, food safety and service standards in retail catering units aswell as other areas as diverse as window cleaning, entrance mats and othercontracts.
Thisis no ordinary job every day will be different and you will work across allsites and at different times of the day or night, including one Saturday permonth.

Thisrole provides the following services to the Trust: -
Thepost holder will audit /monitor pre-determined standards and policies relatingto Estates & Facilities in house services plus a range of out sourcedcontracts. The post holder will also be involved with a range of otherinformation collection exercises and surveys and will report on the patientexperience in areas connected with Estates & Facilities services. The postholder will work closely with the Team Manager and Estates & FacilitiesManagers in assisting developing service improvements in line with national andlocal quality standards.

Toaudit against agreed national or local standards relating to in houseservices provided by the Estates and Facilities CSU across the Trust. This will include auditing cleanlinessstandards in wards, theatres, public areas and departments across the Trust,
Auditstandards of outsourced contracts as specified in the contract specification.The contracts include, but are not limited to Linen Services, Pest Control,Staff and Visitor Catering, Window Cleaning, Taxis, advertising and Vending
Auditsfor catering will monitor food safety standards that are being adhered to inrestaurants, cafes and retail outlets across the Trust.
Requirementto liaise with Contract Managers regarding service shortfalls in standardsand put in place relevant action plans for the Contractor to implement.
