Our client is an established engineering manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Quality Assurance Manager.

The successful candidate will be an experienced quality assurance manager preferably with previous experience in the precision engineering or fabrication sectors.

The Role

Reporting to the Directors your main responsibilities will be to ensure conformance of product, compliance with applicable regulatory and customer specific standards and continual improvement of the quality systems within the business.

• Manage a small team of quality engineers & inspectors
• Oversee and maintain company QSE management systems and accreditation including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, AS9100D and more
• Lead & undertake internal audits
• Promote continuous improvement throughout the business

Candidate

You will be an experienced Quality Assurance Manager ideally with a precision engineering background but must be familiar with the following accreditation; ISO9001, 14001, 45001, NADCAP and AS9100 requirements.

You will be competent in use & deployment of Lean manufacturing / Lean Six Sigma.

Hours Of Work

Lead auditor certification / experience required.

Monday to Friday 40 hours
