A leading technical consultancy in the UK is seeking a Quality Engineer to support a well-known aerospace client for approximately 12 months. The role involves maintaining audit readiness across production departments and supporting internal and customer audits. Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality engineering within aerospace.
• Familiar with creating and maintaining FAIR documentation.
• Ability to support audits with required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and update FAIR documentation for auditing purposes.
• Review and approve quality documentation during production.
• Monitor customer documentation status throughout the project.
• Prepare required documentation for internal and customer audits.

Skills

Experience within an aerospace environment

Knowledge of AS9102/9145

Understanding of APQP/PPAP

Excel Technical Consulting have a new opportunity available in the south of the UK requiring a Quality engineer to support a well-known aerospace client for around 12 months. The position will have a focus on maintaining audit readiness throughout their manufacturing/production departments as well as ensuring customer qualification.

Responsibilities

• Create and update FAIR documentation
• Review and approval of quality documentation
• Update and monitor customer documentation status
• Support document control and quality records
• Support internal and customer audits through preparation of required documentation and evidence packs

Qualifications

• Experience within an aerospace environment
• AS9102/9145
• HNC/HND
• APQP/PPAP

Details

Competitive hourly rate to work around 45 hours in a Monday to Friday working week.
