Quality and Risk Manager - 3 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Quality and Risk Manager to join their team in the Quality department.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours per week, requiring flexible shift coverage.

Duties include:
  • Leading and coordinating the hospital's quality and governance functions to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in line with CHG and national standards.
  • Promoting a culture of safety and quality, supporting staff understanding and implementation of regulatory requirements.
  • Developing, reviewing, and improving clinical governance systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Preparing for inspections (CQC/HIS/HIW), working with departments to gather evidence and implement improvements.
  • Managing responses and action plans post-inspections and audits, ensuring timely completion.
  • Supporting the hospital in achieving and maintaining a 'Good' or higher regulatory rating.
Candidate requirements:
  • Experience in healthcare governance or risk management.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, CQC/HIS/HIW standards, and national quality frameworks.
  • Experience with investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and facilitate change collaboratively.
  • Relevant health qualification and ongoing professional development.
  • Data analysis and report-writing skills to identify trends and drive improvements.
