A major healthcare provider in Wales is seeking a driven Quality Outcomes Business Partner to oversee the quality and safety of care within its services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Quality, providing leadership and fostering excellence in healthcare commissioning. Responsibilities include leading initiatives within the NWJCC and guiding staff in quality practices. Proficiency in Welsh at Level 3 (or B1) is preferred, alongside experience in healthcare governance and leadership.
We have an exciting opportunity for a driven, inspirational professional registrant to undertake the role of Quality Outcomes Business Partner within the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee (NWJCC), helping to oversee the quality and safety of care in our commissioned services.
We are seeking an experienced professional, passionate about their profession, quality and governance to work with the Head of Quality in driving excellence in commissioning healthcare services in Wales.
The successful post holder will provide leadership and direction to staff working within the NWJCC and specifically lead on quality and safety within a designated portfolio.
The post holder will embed the quality principles and enablers across each of the following commissioning groups:
To support the Head of Quality in the development and delivery of a quality service for Specialised Services, Ambulance Services and 111 and Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Vulnerable Groups commissioning. Provide leadership and direction to staff working within NWJCC and the Commissioning Teams within delegated portfolio.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable at Level 3 Speaking/Listening (or ‘B1’ Level if you’ve learnt Welsh as an adult). This doesn’t mean you have to be fluent or able to write long reports in Welsh; it just means being able to hold simple conversations with patients.
