Rate : £32 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available in Bath and North East Somerset. We are looking for a new member for their Safeguard Team.
You will take personal responsibility for continuing professional development and maintaining performance levels. You will manage your time effectively and respond flexibly to service needs. You will undertake section 42 enquiries, care / support assessments, mental capacity assessments, duty work, and at times cover MASH. Conducting thorough assessments and creating personalized care plans based on individuals’ needs will be part of your role. You will provide emotional support, counseling, and act as an advocate to ensure clients have access to necessary services and rights. Additionally, you will provide support and cover for the Team Manager and / or Principal Manager. Actively participating in the performance management system, including supervision, PAR, team meetings, and service reviews, will be part of your role. You will follow departmental health and safety procedures and develop skills through work experience in various divisional situations, such as secondments, job rotation, and shadowing. Contributing to information management processes and supporting social work students on placement under the direction of the Principal or Practice Manager, acting as a workplace supervisor or Practice Teacher if appropriately trained, will also be expected. You need to understand and integrate into practice the key policies of the council in relation to social care with adults, especially multi-disciplinary working, integration, and whole family approaches.
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving licence, and have post-qualified experience. A degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
