Job Description:

Nursery Teacher: The Role

We are currently looking to hire a qualified teacher to join one of our primary schools in the Croydon area. The successful candidate will undertake responsibilities including planning, marking, and report writing. As a teacher, you will be responsible for engaging students with tasks aligned with the national curriculum. The ideal candidate will be able to teach, motivate, and inspire students, working collaboratively with other teachers and teaching assistants. This position is for an Early Years teacher, available immediately until the end of the academic year.

Nursery Teacher: The Ideal Candidate

We seek individuals passionate about working with children and committed to creating a stimulating and safe learning environment. Knowledge of safeguarding is essential. The candidate should be confident in delivering lessons, possess strong curriculum knowledge, and provide constructive feedback. Classroom management skills and behavior monitoring are required. Experience with SEN children or understanding of SEN is preferred.

Nursery Teacher: Candidate Requirements

Applicants must be qualified teachers with a strong understanding of the curriculum and full classroom teaching experience. QTS and references are required. Candidates must have a valid Enhanced DBS check, be registered with the DBS Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one immediately. Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality are expected. A copy of your qualification/certificate is required. Experience in the UK and understanding of safeguarding are essential.
