A recruitment agency is seeking a qualified QTS Tutor to deliver targeted intervention in Maths and English to students with special educational needs in Skelmersdale. This part-time, temporary position allows for flexible hours while making a significant impact on learners not currently accessing mainstream education. Candidates must have QTS, at least one year of teaching experience, and an understanding of SEN needs. Enhanced DBS is also required.

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified teacher (QTS) to work as an SEN Tutor delivering targeted intervention in core subjects, primarily GCSE Maths and English, to students in Skelmersdale starting January 2026.
This role focuses on supporting learners with complex Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH, many of whom are working below age-related expectations or are not currently accessing mainstream education. You will deliver highly personalised 1:1 sessions designed to close learning gaps, rebuild confidence, and support long-term progress.
