We’re looking for a QA Engineer with a strong instinct for how products should behave and a natural curiosity for finding where they might break. You’ll work closely with our Development, Product, and Design teams to help us deliver a smooth, high quality experience to our users.
You don’t need to be highly technical on day one, but you do need a solid understanding of how to test effectively, how users think, and how features behave in real world scenarios. We value a thoughtful, user focused approach to testing far more than deep automation expertise. We do desire you to have the aptitude and the enthusiasm to learn automation and technical tooling, we’ll support you as you grow those skills.
At Nexus Mods, the most important qualities you can bring are a problem solving mindset, curiosity, and a positive, collaborative attitude. In this role, we expect you to be self-driven, proactive, and comfortable performing the core responsibilities of a QA Engineer as part of a fast moving, agile team.
Established in 2001, Nexus Mods is the largest video game modding platform on the internet—a household name in the PC gaming ecosystem.
We’re currently focused on product modernisation, driving growth and building infrastructure for the next 10 years of community-powered modding.
At Nexus Mods, engineers don’t disappear into silos. You’ll join a cross-functional product pod. An autonomous, outcome-focused team with everything needed to help ship real impact: Product Manager, Tech Lead, Backend/Frontend Engineers, App Developers, Designers, QAs, Community & Content.
Pods own strategy, discovery, delivery, and results. That means you’re not just handed tickets, you help shape what gets built, test ideas with users, and see your work reach millions of gamers worldwide.
We celebrate diversity and want you to bring your whole self to work.
Supporting an incredible community of tens of millions of users, we thrive on engaging as many views as possible to improve our platform. We see no reason why our culture should be any different.
