Job summary

A leading renewable energy company in Bournemouth is seeking an Engineer Technician to handle routine maintenance and inspection of solar PV systems. The role includes diagnosing electrical faults and using testing equipment. Location: Sites across the UK (region-based)

Schedule: MondayFriday with a paid weekend rota (approx. 1 in 5 weekends) and occasional overnight stays

What Youll Do
  • Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and remedial work on solar PV systems (AC & DC)
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fixes as needed
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, using industry-standard testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, etc.)
