This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes while working closely with suppliers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders, playing a key role in an international organisation where distribution expertise powers essential global industries.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Raising and managing supplier purchase orders within an ERP system
  • Monitoring stock levels and ordering in line with demand and stock policies
  • Handling supplier queries around pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery delays
  • Liaising with third‑party warehouses and hauliers to resolve issues such as damages or shortages
  • Logging and resolving purchase‑related complaints to support continuous improvement
  • Maintaining accurate ERP records and communicating updates to internal teams
  • Working closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Logistics colleagues
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in purchasing, supply chain, inventory control, or operations support
  • Strong ERP system experience (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Netsuite or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and stock data
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective supplier relationships
  • Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
  • A proactive team player who enjoys problem‑solving and process improvement
