What you’ll be doing

As Operational Purchasing Manager, you’ll lead and inspire a team of Buyers and Assistant Buyers to deliver operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, motivating and performance managing the purchasing team.
• Driving improvements in cost and service levels from indirect suppliers.
• Project managing complex purchasing initiatives across the UK business units.
• Developing and implementing commodity strategies aligned with business needs.
• Leading strategic and operational negotiations, while supporting buyers in key supplier discussions.
• Partnering with global purchasing teams, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure value-driven outcomes.
