This is a business where procurement plays a critical role-and where supply chain professionals are valued. What you’ll be doing

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement of raw materials and inbound logistics
  • Lead and develop a small team (Senior Buyer & Inbound Logistics Coordinator)
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Lead supplier negotiations and drive cost savings
  • Oversee MRP planning and stock control
  • Ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams-Production, Quality, Finance, Commercial
  • Develop reporting and KPIs to track and improve performance
  • Work closely with international partners (e.g. CS India) to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Proven background in procurement and inbound logistics in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation experience
  • Knowledge of MRP systems and stock control
  • Understanding of international freight and trade compliance
  • Confident communicator across internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Leadership experience and a hands‑on approach to team development
  • Experience in chemical or process industries is a bonus
  • Familiarity with COMAH, sustainability in supply chains, or supplier audits is desirable
  • £55k-£60k base salary
