A dynamic civil engineering firm based in Ipswich is seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team. The role is full-time and hybrid, allowing for three days in the office and two days at home. Duties include ensuring compliance with company standards, inputting data into the COINS system, and resolving inquiries effectively. Ideal candidates will have prior purchase ledger experience, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office. Purchase Ledger Assistant – Head Office, Ipswich. Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 at home. Friday the team leaves an hour early.
We are looking for someone who has previous Purchase Ledger experience and has exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, who is organised with good time management. They will need to be forward‑thinking, beyond the given task, with a flexible approach and not afraid to ask questions. Due to the nature of the role, we need someone who is confident in engaging with staff at all levels.
Successful candidates must have a good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of cloud‑based programmes would be an advantage but is not essential.
