Position

Purchase Ledger Assistant – Head Office, Ipswich. Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 at home. Friday the team leaves an hour early.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and environmental policies and the requirements of company procedures.
  • Responsible for input of data into COINS system.
  • Undertake routine tasks and activities within a designated area of work.
  • Resolve queries/issues within own area of work by direct contact with other staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Provide information as required by retrieving documents and/or preparing basic reports.
Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has previous Purchase Ledger experience and has exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, who is organised with good time management. They will need to be forward‑thinking, beyond the given task, with a flexible approach and not afraid to ask questions. Due to the nature of the role, we need someone who is confident in engaging with staff at all levels.

Successful candidates must have a good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of cloud‑based programmes would be an advantage but is not essential.
