Overview

Job Description: General Manager – 3 Storey Events Pub, Islington. We're a newly refurbished 3 floor pub in Angel, Islington. We are looking for a general manager to take ownership of the venue and really drive process for the venue management and also grow the event side of the business.

Responsibilities

• Keeping things running smoothly day-to-day.
• Oversee the private hire side of the business.
• Overseeing the kitchen to make sure the food is top-notch.
• Keeping the place clean, safe, and maintaining all health + safety regulations.
• Hiring, training, and managing staff.
• Creating staff schedules.
• Keeping track of stock, ordering supplies, and negotiating with suppliers.
• Managing budgets and reporting on how things are going.
• Building relationships with customers and the community.
• Making sure customers have a great experience.
• Contributing to socials.

Who you are

• You have experience as a General Manager or Assistant Manager in a pub, bar, or hospitality venue.
• You take initiative and are self motivated.
• You're a great leader and can manage a team.
• You're organised and pay attention to detail.
